Volker Böhm has been appointed Academic Ambassador of the University of Urbino by its Rector.The ceremony took place on September 21, 2012 during the biannual conference Dynamic Models in Economics and Finance (MDEF) 2012.

Volker Böhm was Visiting Professor in the Division of Economics, School of Humanities and Social Sciences of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, March 1–31, 2012, where he taught a minicourse in Mathematical Economics as part of the Ph.D. program. In addition, he reported on results of his recent research in seminars at NTU as well as at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
