According to Handelsblatt's 2007 ranking, the Bielefeld Faculty of  Business Management and Economics takes the ninth place among German economics departments - the trend is further upward. In addition, numerous professors teaching in this faculty rank among the top 100 German-language economists. The faculty is also well-positioned on a worldwide scale.
